Michael Wooldridge and Guests 29th June 2010

A Special Concert to celebrate Michael's professional debut here at Maidenhead 30 years ago this month.

A message from Michael:

It seems amazing to me that 30 years can have passed since my first paid professional concert.

It came about through making a special guest appearance in a 1979 Christmas concert given by my tutor,

theatre organist Bobby Pagan, on the delightful Compton organ which used to be at the Regal Cinema, Henley.

I only played one medley of music but that was enough for the MOS secretary, Stan Aiken, to offer me

a booking for a whole concert here at Maidenhead on 24th June 1980.
